STEP-FREE ACCESS
Hills HQ provides step-free access from the car park to the building via a ramp with handrails. While the ramp gradient is steeper than current recommended standards, it offers a continuous, step-free path of travel.
The main entrance includes a small threshold ramp. The entry door is manually operated and fitted with a doorbell that can be reached from a seated position. Assistance is available if required.
INTERNAL ACCESS
All internal areas of Hills HQ have flat surfaces with stepless thresholds. Pathways are kept clear of clutter, allowing for easy movement throughout the space.
Reception, desks, offices and meeting room have moveable seats and can be adjusted to accommodate different needs.
LIGHTING & ACOUSTICS
The workspace is designed to be calm and quiet, with acoustics considered throughout the layout. Lighting levels are relatively low compared to typical office environments, which may suit people sensitive to noise or harsh lighting.
PARKING & DROP-OFF
Onsite parking is available. While there is no designated accessible parking space, there is a drop-off point located in the car park close to the ramped entry.
WAYFINDING
Maps of the building are provided on arrival for those hiring or using spaces within Hills HQ, helping visitors orient themselves within the building.
ASSISTANCE ANIMALS
Assistance animals are welcome at Hills HQ.
TOILET FACILITIES
The building does not have an accessible toilet. Toilet facilities are shared with other units and may not be suitable for all users.
EMERGENCY INFORMATION
Emergency equipment is installed throughout the building. If you require assistance in an emergency or have concerns about evacuation procedures, please speak with us before your visit so we can discuss suitable arrangements.
IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS
While Hills HQ offers step-free access and a calm working environment, the building does not meet full accessibility compliance standards. This includes limitations around entry gradients and bathroom access.
